Life savers ministries is a community based organization that started in Makota Village Buwenge Sub county Jinja District, Uganda East Africa. The organization that embarks on the slogan; “One Touch of Love to Restore Life” is demonstrates her competence with her target population that comprises of Children, young Adults, Adults as well as the elderly. The organization was formed to eradicate poverty, illiteracy, diseases especially HIV/AIDS. HIV I AIDS. Illiteracy, diseases, and poverty have had diverse and far reaching effects on the people in this area leading to increased numbers of orphans, widows, widowers and vulnerable children with no hope and no means of survival in terms of access to basic needs and decent housing. Therefore ft is to this cause that Life savers ministries conceives her vision through the provision of education, training in the health care and sanitation and self – sustaining projects with resources from local and the international community in order to impact to the livelihoods of her target populations mentioned above.
There are many ways that you can support the needs of children and the needy people in Uganda
*You can pray for them and their guardians
* Raise awareness in your community – Give a presentation to your child’s class or school, a civic group, or your faith-based community. Contact us for outreach materials.
* Volunteer – Show your support for Save The Aids Orphans Uganda or another organization working to address the pandemic by giving your time, talents, or expertise. If you are interested in volunteering at Christ Power, please contact our office for more information.
* Host a house party – Invite your friends and family to your home and educate them about the challenges of HIV/AIDS in Africa
